Junior Films

This is my first film for my junior year, and honestly, I was really close to giving up. I'm an amateur at film making right now, and so many things went wrong: the traffic was really loud in the background, there was a tripod in one of my shots, I have a few very over-exposed shots because I didn't know about the F-stop, and etc. I didn't think it would be worth going through the trouble of trying to fix those problems to produce this 4 minute film. But I pushed through and tried my best, and I got this. It's not what I was hoping for, but I think its pretty good for the amount of mistakes I made, which I've learned from and will make sure not to repeat in my next film. I want to give a thank you and a shout out to Tyler and Jules! They helped me with so much and I wouldn't have been able to make this film without them. Also, thank you Ms. M for helping with the technical stuff. : )

This is my second film in video production and it was a lot of fun to make. I learned from my mistakes in the first video I made, and though there were a few problems that occurred during this film, I'm very proud of how it turned out. Thank you to Aniyah and Rafael for helping make this film. I wouldn't have been able to do it without you guys!

This is my first ever documentary, and while I ran into many problems, I think it came out okay. This is like my first pancake, not my best, but still edible. In this documentary, I try to answer a question I shouldn't even have to ask, but is very relevant today: should teachers be armed? Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible.

This is my first ever experimental, and although it had its ups and downs, I'm very proud of how this turned out. It was very fun to film, and we got pretty lucky with lighting and color for the entire film. Thank you to Jules, Rafael, Aniyah, and Kaytlyn for making this film possible.

What happens when your reflection gains conscientiousness? What is it like for them to be a reflection? And what happens when they realize what life on the other side of the mirror is really like? Find out what happens in the Purple Skies Production of "Mirror Mirror". This is a choice project I made with Aniyah, Rafael, and Kaytlyn. Thank you so much you guys, I could not have done this without you.

Continuing a yearly tradition, we have another Unrealistics Podcast - Game Show Edition! Like last time, we have three SLAM students from each grade level competing for the grand prize, but we've upped the stakes: The grand prize is now 50 dollars!! The thing is, none of the contestants know what the grand prize is. Will they give it their all? Find out in this special episode.

Thank you to Aniyah, Rafael, and Kaytlyn for helping make this film possible, thank you to the contestants for agreeing to be on the show, and thank you to Sam and Esteban for sacrificing their time to help with camera work.
